JOB WORTH DOING

This blog follows our school work on an eTwinning project called Job Worth Doing. The project intends to make our pupils think about their future careers. There are three schools involved, two from the Czech Republic and one from France. After getting to know each other, our pupils will take part in communicative activities which will induce them to discover various jobs, improve their English skills and… have fun!

What are our plans?

We begin our project with a short activity where we introduce ourselves. At the same time the pupils start designing a logo for our project. It is a competition and the best logo will be used in the future. We are looking forward to an activity where each class will create a song about one occupation. In April we make a comic strip with our own photos and ask our partners to fill in bubbles in the comic. We conclude our project in May with a video activity, involving two jobs and two moods.

We start our project today!

Our eTwinning project is registered today. We are excited! The TwinSpace, platform for schools where we can share our ideas together, is opened and we can start. The first step is changing the name of our project. A job worth doing is a job worth doing well is a nice name but a bit too long. We change it to Job Worth Doing and start preparing the TwinSpace for our activities. All of them should induce our teen-age pupils to discover various jobs, improve their English skills and... have fun!
